Now that we have successfully cracked an undetectable NetLimiter application and account, and also managed to create our port configurations for Destiny 2, here's a simplified breakdown of the various ports we will be netlimiting that are used by Destiny 2 and how limiting their bandwidth can affect your gameplay.
Destiny 2 Port (All Ports)
Purpose: Used for various in-game actions, such as dunking motes.
- Limiting this port may cause Error Code Weasel if held too long.
Download Rate: 811 B/s
Port 3074 DL (Download)
Purpose: Used for general connection to enemies, the game, affects damage, unloading doors before a new loadzone, and moving objects. Also affects survival and encounter-ending mechanics.
- Survive wipe mechanics still occur, but the encounter may end without you being wiped.
- Error Code Spinach: If held too long.
- Desyncing: Can cause Error Code Arugula.

Port 3074 UL (Upload)
Purpose: Helps prevent desync issues during certain boss fights by limiting your upload speed.
- Affects health updates for other players during specific bosses.
Download Rate: 1 B/s
Port 7.5k (Connection to D2 API/Backend)
Purpose: Affects backend services like inventory servers.
- Limiting can block non-buff related dunks (e.g., rally flags, chest keys, subclass options).
- Wait 3 seconds after limiting to avoid desync before rallying or opening chests.
- Error Code Weasel: Triggered if held too long.
Download Rate: 8 B/s
Port 27k (Connection to Players)
Purpose: Handles player connections, such as res tokens in raids or legendary campaigns and izi swaps
- True Host: Limiting this port for long enough will cause you to error the whole lobby with Error Code Anteater.
- Not True Host: Limiting will cause Error Code Beaver if held too long.
- Prevents players from joining when limited.

Port 30k (Connection to Game World)
Purpose: Used for connecting to the game world.
- Prevents you from joining allies in certain scenarios.
- Causes a "soft" disconnect if held long enough.
- Error Codes Anteater/Baboon: Triggered if held too long.
